I decided to write on a blog instead of sending everyone obnoxiously long emails, and this way it's also easier for me to upload pictures.
Right now I'm at a little internet cafe in downtown Brisbane, so this is just a quick update since I'm paying to use the computer.
After 29 hours on a plane or in an airport we finally made it to our hotel in Brisbane. Our apartment is located in South Bank which is just across the river from downtown. Our apartment is on the 6th floor and the balcony has a gorgeous view of the city.
On Sunday afternoon we took a taxi to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary which is the oldest koala sanctuary in the world and one of the few places where you can hold a koala. I got to cuddle a koala and handfeed grey kangaroos as well as see a variety of Australian animals.
Tiffany! It looks like you're having an awesome time! Did you steal that koala in your purse? I would have! We miss you and can't wait to hear all your stories and see your pictures. I know you're learning a lot, and maybe finding a heath ledger look-alike? :)

ReplyDeleteso last night i had a dream that i came to see you in brisbane and we went exploring around your apartment and the city and it was really fun. and then we ended up at ryan edgar's concert (he's kari jobe's boyfriend...and used to be on the worship team at gateway) and he and i were flirting but then he ended up dating my old friend from high school who's now in the army.
haha. i miss youuu and i wish i could come visit you in real life! i hope you're having an awesome time! keep updating us and posting pictures when you can! maybe you can post pics of the inside of your apt?? love you bunches!! Love, Allison
